Hello, I’m Randy Robbins and originally I’m from Ahoskie, NC. I have always loved growing my own crops, and my love for horses first began when I started dating my now-wife, Ashley. We volunteered together at a local therapeutic riding center for children with disabilities. Since then we have grown our own herd, and my favorite pass-time is now playing horse soccer in the pasture with my favorite girl, Soleil.
Meet our Owners
Hello everyone! My name is Ashley Robbins, and I’m the owner/operator of Galloping Grazes and Equine Sheath Shine. Originally from Alabama, I spent 10 years working as a medic in the Air Force and was stationed in Andrews AFB in Maryland and Seymour Johnson in Goldsboro. Falling in love with North Carolina, I found myself landing in Pitt County where I’ve been for the past 35 years.
I have worked alongside horses for years, from volunteering at a therapeutic riding center to working as a barn staff and acting as board president of a local nonprofit equine therapeutic center.
Meet Our Horses
We have two horses on Galloping Grazes Farm, Duck and Soleil.
Duck is a 19-year-old Dun Appaloosa gelding. He’s our handsome, laidback, go with the flow guy. Duck loves going on adventures off the farm in the woods or an evening stroll down the street.
Soleil is a 16-year-old 18-hand Percheron mare. She is an in your pocket kind of girl, loves cuddles, and is truly a gentle giant. She’s a beautiful mover and a very comfy ride. We are beyond blessed to be their parents.

What began as a beloved hobby, our natural preserves have quickly become a fan-favorite in Pitt County. All of our products are made by hand in small batches, giving each preserve its unique homemade taste, and ensures only the freshest ingredients end up on your table.
